I just uploaded debathena-upgrade-config to the proposed repo. I didn't
make it a dependency of anything, because I wanted to let the developers
discuss where it should go. I suggest that it should go in
debathena-standard for roughly the same reasons that
debathena-archive-keyring is in there. Any objections?
Also, we need people to test this package.
To test:
- Make sure that /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debathena.list looks like this:
> deb http://debathena.mit.edu/apt intrepid debathena debathena-config
> debathena-system openafs
> deb-src http://debathena.mit.edu/apt intrepid debathena
> debathena-config debathena-system openafs
> deb http://debathena.mit.edu/apt intrepid-proposed debathena
> debathena-config debathena-system openafs
> deb-src http://debathena.mit.edu/apt intrepid-proposed debathena
> debathena-config debathena-system openafs
- Install debathena-upgrade-config
- Upgrade from Intrepid to Jaunty (`do-release-upgrade -d` will work
from the command line; I don't know about the GUI)
- Look at /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debathena.list and see if it says
"jaunty" everywhere it said "intrepid"
