Hello,

In the past, Linerva has had problems with software in the cadence
locker causing instabilities with AFS on Linerva that resulted in us
needing to reboot the server, causing downtime for all of our users.

Especially since we have no ability to attempt to debug or reproduce
the problem ourselves, we've disabled the locker on Linerva in order
to prevent these problems from recurring.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
