I'm sorry, I may have been confused -- are you running 'Plink', the
ssh software from the PuTTY distribution, or is it some piece of
software you are running after logging into linux.mit.edu? I had
assumed the latter from your email, but if's the former, let us know
and we can try to debug the problem with you.
