Hi Amritaa,
This is probably the result of an intermittent bug we've been seeing
on linux.mit.edu since an upgrade about two weeks ago. We're working
on tracking it down, but until then, you should be able to work around
by, when you get errors, quiting Plink, running 'aklog' in that shell,
and then trying again.
