I'd be weakly in favor of doing this both for dialups and for cluster  
machines.  (But maybe not for -managed and below?)  Knowing the  
hostname in these cases isn't very useful, and people who care can  
easily override their prompt/run hostname manually.  It also creates  
an easy-to-refer-to athena prompt and creates the feeling that cluster  
machines and dialups are "the same".
