Thank you for the quick reply.
I checked debathena.list and the 2 lines were already uncommented. I then
ran the 3 commands and got:
$ sudo /etc/init.d/openafs-client restart
Stopping AFS services: openafs.
Starting AFS services: openafs afsd.
afsd: ERROR: Cache dir check failed (must use ext2 or ext3 for cache
partition)
fs: Invalid argument.
Do you have any further advice?
Thanks!
Cathy

Hi Cathy -<br>
If you edit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debathena.list, you'll find that<br>
there should be two lines that were commented out by the release upgrade<br>
process. The contents of that file should look something like this:<br>
<br>
deb <a href="http://debathena.mit.edu/apt" target="_blank">http://debathena.mit.edu/apt</a> intrepid debathena debathena-config<br>
debathena-system openafs<br>
deb-src <a href="http://debathena.mit.edu/apt" target="_blank">http://debathena.mit.edu/apt</a> intrepid debathena debathena-config<br>
debathena-system openafs<br>
<br>
Edit the file to contain those two lines, and then run "sudo aptitude<br>
update && sudo aptitude dist-upgrade"<br>
<br>
You may also need to run "sudo /etc/init.d/openafs-client restart" after<br>
that.<br>
