The requirement for disallowing automatic restart of the DB or ABS if
trouble is detected is something which should be placed on startup or
configuration scripts, such as the rc scripts which are executed after
system reboot.

Is there some unstated assumption here that one of the ABS deliverables
are system configuration and startup scripts? I re-read the list of
deliverables and did not find system startup scripts listed as one of
the deliverables (maybe I missed it).

We also have a requirement that if the ABS detects some inconsistency
in the data contained in the database, that it should log errors
and continue to operate. The defintion of "cleanly" seems to indicate
the opposite. So what do we want to do here to resolve this difference?

Is it better to just make discussion of the first draft of "cleanly"
and agenda item for next week?
