One of the things I would like to see in the next protocol revision is
a separate signature field.

It's been a few months away for the past 2 years. There is only one zephyr
developer still working on zephyr, and he spends most of his time on other
projects, so I wouldn't hold my breath. The same comment applies to
protocol changes.

I like that idea; though I don't know if there are enough interesting
programs to justify it.
