Unless a new distribution has been placed on athena-dist recently,
that's not true. There is a new windowgram client in the package, a
few new library functions, and an X version of zwrite. I would call
these additions "major functionality". Also, there have been a *lot*
of bug fixes.

Since you're at Stanford, you might have access to AFS. If you do,
the sources currently running at MIT are available in
/afs/rel-eng.athena.mit.edu/project/release/current/source/athena/athena.lib/zephyr.
You might want to use that as a starting point for your work at
Stanford. Until the new server is done, I would recommend using the
server from athena-dist, however, not from the /afs source tree.
