I have 3 comments or questions about Zephyr.
1. I want to specify the host machine.
It's inconvenient not to be able to write the host name. If the zephyr
receiver is logging in 2 or more workstations, zephyr does not work as
a 'real time' communication since the sender is not sure if the receiver
is working on the WS that get the message.
Host name specification or multi-sending (to all the WS receiver logging in)
functionality might be good.
2. Impossible correction.
When invoking zwrite in c-shell, I cannot correct the letters in upper lines.
I think Zephyr usually should be used in emacs or other X-applications.
As for emacs, I think it is easy to implement Zephyr to it because
Zephyr just takes a message from standard input.
3. Iconify.
Messages such as 'See you at 3:00 in bld. E40-33?' should be hold for
a few hours, and I sometimes want the message iconified. When I was using
'uwm', I couldn't do that because when I tried to iconify it by pushing
<Meta>MouseLeft, it dissapeared. Maybe my uwm configuration should be wrong
or that's my fault, but if there are certain ways to iconify or save message to
files, it might be convenient. Now I am using mwm or twm, there is no problem
for that though.
I am sorry if I am mis-reading the manual and please tell me if there are
ways to do those things.
Thanks.
