Subject: zephyr bug report

I'm not sure if you're the right person to report this to, but your name
was on the source file in question.

We have Zephyr up and running (without Kerberos and Hesiod) here at CMU,
and it's quite popular. We hope to running Kerberos servers running
sometime this fall.

In the meantime, we've discovered a bug in the function Z_SendLocation()
in the file ZLocations.c There is a call to ttyname(0), however, the
return value is never checked for NULL. The call to rindex() on the
next line then seg faults.

The way we start up Zephyr at our site, it is not uncommon for stdin to
really be /dev/null and not a tty. We've made ourselves a workaround,
but thought you should be aware of the problem.

If you're not the right person to send this to, please let me know who I
should be discussing this with.

Thank you,
	-Jay Laefer
