server braindump definitely loses data

Since the b11zephyr server process had grown to over 6 meg, I
restarted in Monday night. I took dumps from before and after the
restart to compare. (They're in /usr/tmp on b11zephyr; zephyr.db.1 is
the pre-restart one.)
Some of the subscriptions had changed, though all the subscriptions
that went away that I looked into (which was by no means all of them)
were for people who had logged out, so that's okay. There were new
subscriptions in several places, much smaller differences, mostly from
people attaching file systems or just getting logged in. (Tom has
complained of having lost subscriptions, but I haven't checked what
the dumps have for him.)
However, only four locations were in the post-restart dump. This is
bad.
No messages were logged during the dump.
