Hi,
I recently downloaded a copy of the zephyr source code and was
attempting to install it on a HP-UX series 300 machine. Unfortunately,
the make files did not work in our environment. The makeconfig file
contained such constructs as "-for", "-rm", "mkdir ${DESTDIR}/$$i" (most
specifically $$i) which do not work in any our our standard shells (sh, ksh,
csh). After creating a script to do similar work, I created the zephyr
environment. Immediately after, I invoked 'make world' in order to create
zephyr. Again, this did not work. Do I have an old version of source or
are these tools useless on my machine. The installation documentation
is dated "20 November, 1989".
Any assistance would be appreciated.
