We are excited to announce the official beginning of the Truthout Progressive Pick of the Week program. As a special service, we will be selecting some of the best progressive books and films for our readers to obtain directly from Truthout. This offers an opportunity to feature progressive books and movies, helping to bolster independent authors and filmmakers, and providing an opportunity to support Truthout's mission.
For a few months, we have been experimenting with choosing books and DVDs that we believe will interest you, and the response has been extremely enthusiastic. As a result, we're incorporating this service into the site for the long-term. It's easy: You receive a pick of the week as a gift by selecting it and making a minimum donation to Truthout.
