i had tried apparently four times to make the following changes to the log:
1. change from "taken" to "pending"
2. erase taker's name
3. make category "helpdesk" instead of "helpnet"
4. add text to contact history
in each case, scopus crashed on save with a dr. watson warning.
this happened on two different NT workstation machines. i finally was able to
correct it by logging in to scopus as someone else. the log was locked under
my name, even though i did not have it open.
