I appreciate the effort that you put into your job. However, your
messages are pretty flammatory! You should tone them down -- a lot. I
understand that Scopus is a bit buggy right now, but in the grand scheme
it is a good thing. Do you think that the Filemaker database was as
feature-rich when it was created 8 years ago? I can tell you from
first-hand experience that it wasn't. Over the years, a number of
people, myself included, worked on it adding features and
functionality. The same hard work will go into the Scopus/Oracle
solution that we're using now.
Please try to keep the bigger picture in mind as you use Scopus. If you
find bugs, please notify tooltime about them. Solutions and workarounds
will be forthcoming, I'm sure. We're all here to make the right things
happen, but that takes time, understanding, and patience.
