Steve,

The email interface seems to be working well so far.

Is there any way to put the "Log XXXXXX" back in the subject line on logs
like this?  I sent mail with the subject "Re: testing the email interface".
It did the right thing and added it to the only log with that summary, but
the text says "Please continue to use the subject line above (which
contains your log number)" even though that is not really the case.

We could change the text, but I wonder if it might be better to reinsert
the log number into the Subject field, instead.
