- results set date field "Created On"...
a.) the field comes out five miles wide compared with its contents.
If the field is specified in characters, we can be pretty sure it's
only 20 characters wide.
b.) at our meeting steve said that sorting in the field made no sense.
The field seems to be YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS, which presents no problem
with sorting that I can tell. It groups first by year, then month,
then day.... Just what one would expect. I don't see a problem.
c.) setting date formats in File / Preferences... has no effect on this
field.
If we can narrow the default field width to a reasonable value, then we
can go with it as it now works.
