I saw this, and our work immediately came to mind. I wonder if this
product will interoperate with the help desk tool, and if so what is

Hello,
As you know, the Registar's office is interested in developing a Web
application for pre-registration at MIT. Some of the major issues we
talked about last week at our meeting included how to authenticate users
and encrypt the data being passed.
Oracle has announced a web server product called Oracle WebServer 2.0 which
they claim does both authentication and data encryption, as well as providing
a high-performance web server and database connectivity.
I would like to know if you are (or could become) familiar with this product
and advise us on it's applicability to the pre-registration application we
talked about.
