  http://web.mit.edu/tooltime/www/scopus_rollout.html

The calendar of activities is available at:
  http://web.mit.edu/tooltime/www/scopus_dec.html

Both documents are part of the project notebook and give current status on
tasks.

Some of the comments/issues discussed at the December 17, 1996 meeting:

- 1.0b8 changes are done, this represents the final 1.0 release

- Rob Smyser will take the lead on coordinating the training sessions,
including notification, room schedule, training format

- Esther is on schedule for releasing the training document, will wait
until the first training session before requesting copies to be made
at graphics arts. If necessary, we can zerox copies for the staff
training session. Team feedback is due on November 18, 1996. Final
version will have platform dependencies, known bugs/issues

- Work is proceeding on reviewing the change password program. Problem
running it on Windows 95 will be investigated. Wade will investigate
porting the program to Macintosh. Barbara did not feel this was a
   showstopper.

- The SGI client looks good

- Possible date of January 13 for Scopus site visit

- Goguen, Wade, Hogue, Ferarra to meet in early January for review of status

- Open Transport 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 seems to not work with SQL*Net 1.5.
SQL*Net 2.1 appears to work with these later versions of OT. Wade alerted
Scopus on Monday 12/16 of the problem and received the following reply:

      Date: Tue, 17 Dec 1996 11:21:57 -0800
Steven - I have forwarded your concerns to corporate with my comments
for escalation. As of right now we do not have the solution.

The HelpDesk Mac's are at OT 1.1, but the preference is to move upto 1.1.1
in order to fix memory problems with 1.1 and to review the interface of
the newer version of OT as it is needed for OT MacPPP.

- The schedule for a January 8, 1997 rollout is on schedule.

- There is some slippage in the Filemaker cleanup and load. Looking for
data through end of July (6k records) for first pass load on production.
Once loaded, team will be informed to conduct some testing.

- Some slippage on Brio Query assessment (making contact with customers
has been done, need to assess, inform team and plan next steps). Need
to check on Brio Query license, as of week ending 12/13, this seemed
   promising.

- Lynne is leading the technology transfer and programmer's guide, both
   are moving forward.

- We will proceed with notification of system cut-over during week 12/18.

- The release 2.0 bug list has been compiled, next steps to be taken in
   January include refinement, and assessment.

- Scopus reported that there are is no functionality on the Macintosh for
   accelerator keys and clipboard functions.

- Wade and Lynne to resolve warehouse lookup problems and migrate the test
   database to production

- The on-line task list has been updated and should be reviewed by
   team members
