I would like to see the tooltime team members test out some of the new
functions and take a look at the enclosed data updates. Comments you have
would help with the Tuesday pm testing.
To get it started, here are some comments:
- The history and summary search (invoked from the HelpDesk pulls down menu)
seems to be working well. I was able to get good results back from my
queries (thanks to Brett and Lynne for getting this to work).
- There are 135 netinstall records. Testing has mixed results. In one case
(record 51127), I received a "unique contraint" when I tried to save an
update to the database.
Is it possible that we have not tested existing records from Filemaker with
the netinstall save. ?? - or there is some other problem with the data ?
- Some Filemaker records return error messages (e.g. bad hardware name, etc.).
If we identify these errors, we could make a few data changes to reduce
the problems. Note: There are 837 log records from Filemaker.
- New software items (278 records) were loaded - check it out
- New os (110 records) were loaded - check it out
- Sequence numbers for new records now start at 100,000. You may want
to generate a few records in this new range.
Prior to testing, the only action item I have left is to update the
warehouse file within Scopus/Oracle.
