The answers to these requests is no, no and no.
The call Queue is based upon the four published telephone numbers. There is
a DCS entry in the category list, this is the indicator of complex installs,
all requests to be handled by the helpdesk are HelpNet category.
The Hardware is thought to be needed. For complex installs the entry N/A is
appropriate, and part of the picklist.
The Status field can be physically moved. The required attritrubute cannot
be removed, this is the indicator of an open record.
The position of the status field can be discussed at the beta debrief next
Friday. Please remember that all of the major people in this area of the
helpdesk have been here not longer than four months.
Yes the helpnet/DCS screen is a duplicate of what has been used or not used
in Filemaker, we did not have a good indication at the time of design what
would be good or should be changed. We felt at the time, it would be best
to move forward with what we had and redesign this particular part for
release 2 and nic/it.
