I think I finally have the record locking, clear the screen, backfill, discard
messages working.
There is one thing, when you backfill a record to the screen and you have read
write access to the record you need to save the record before you backfill or
clear the screen.
This is because the hits and touched have been updated but not saved to the
database. The only way to get around this is to do a save of the record on the
screen before clearing the lock, the screen and filling in the new record. I
would rather not do this because what if someone has typed junk in the history
field and they don't want to save it........
All the messages are legitimate, changes have been made to the screen and need
to be saved.
Can someone please log onto scopus and verify that I have it right this time?
Send mail to tooltime-bugs if I don't have it right yet. I think I am as close
as I can get at this point. I really would like to have verification that it is
working now..........
