Hi
In looking over the spec for netinstalls, a few other items came up that
would be helpful to get included somewhere in this project.
For each department, there should be a Local Office Expert field that pops
up the phone email &c. of the appropriate person for a given department.
Also there should be some mechanism for allowing a consultant to "flag" a
department. For instance, if I am donig a large installation for the Health
Science and Technology department, I would want all calls into the help desk
from people in that department to have a hook into my name. This way, if a
problem comes up, people can double check with me to make sure that my big
installation hasn't broken anything else.
Also, the local experts should be able to get in to the database, and maybe
even write to it [only certain fields]. My instinct on this is that the web
interface will allow them to look at records, but they should be able to do
more than just read.
