Testing Checklist for Beta One
Are the required fields obvious? YES
Can you open a new log? YES
Can you autofill the client information with your own name etc.? YES
Can you fill in hardware, o/s, and software information? YES hardware list
needs to be extended
Did the pick lists do the right things? not on installation page. fields
show up blank when you try to type something in including a pop-down list.
Can you change the choices? YES
Did the supported flag work? didn't try that one.
Can you make a time stamped entry in the history field?
op_get_field_update_info: key field mit_log_id may not be updated.
Did the status tab get updated? NO
Can you save the record? NO
Can you set the Call Category, Call queue and status fields? YES
Now can you save the record? NO
Can you call up the record created by the person next to you? YES
Can you call up a record, alter it and resave the record? NO
Can you close a record? YES
Can you find a record, mark it as taken and save it? NO
Can you freeze a record? didn't try that one.
Can you find and autofill the information from an email address? YES
If you set a record to housecall or netinstall did mail get sent? NO
Can you enter information in the tabbed forms? YES
Can you make a date and time stamped entry in the housecall and netinstall
history fields? NO
Does the Quick button work? didn't try that one.
Does the close log button do the right things? I don't know
other things...
Can't print.

command a doesn't work.
need to hit delete key a bunch of times.

can't type in fields, when I type letters flash then disappear including
pop down list.

% shows up every time search find nothing. I ended up with a row of %s
