Hi Guys what I am about to say is based on the UK market . I have no real
knowledge of the us markets

Sap is a group of modules which together comprise a potentially complete
business solution (once the client has reengered their busines and also had
people configure SAP to their business) (A few 100 thousand pounds later in
general).

ABAP is the language in which the modules are written.
Contatcting SAP Usa should give you an idea of how much the trainig course
are going to be (probable expensive) . I took 3 to start with BC400 , BC405
& BC410.
Introduction to ABAP , ABAP dialogs , ABAP reporting.

It took me 2-3 months after taking the courses to find work.

The rule seems to be . Course done - no experiance - No one wnats to know
you.
after 1 months experiance you will be inundated with offers (for SAP that
is )

Money is higer in UK than US but you have cheaper goods.

SAP demand is HUGE . In the uk we are short by thousand s of SAP
consultants.

I cant see much changeing for 5-6 years.
