Hi SAPpers!
I have a requirement to have a production order status be changed to
technically complete as soon as it is fully delivered, that is, as soon
as the goods receipt has been done.
I am considering a number of approaches:
1. Write a batch job that goes through all of the orders that are fully
delivered, and change the status to technically complete. This would run
nightly, which is acceptable in terms of timing.
2. Write a workflow that changes the status of the production order to
technically complete when the goods receipt transaction is done.
Any suggestions on which approach would work better? Is there a standard
transaction that can accomplish the same function, that I have
overlooked, similar to the transactions for collective release of
orders?
