Anybody that implemented PS for a shutdown?

Hi
Currently we are in the process of implementing PS for the shutdown
planning of a factory.
Scenario
8000 maintenance activities that need to be planned and managed through a
8 week shutdown.
We are utilizing PS to handle costs on the WBS structure and using PM
orders and operations to create the networks for planning and monitoring
purposes.
These orders will settle to the WBS.
Since Resource scheduling and Capacity planning takes place in PM we are
looking for functionality to do resource levelling and be able to determine
the labour resource needs for a Project.
These functions are utilized in Open Plan and various other Project
planning systems.
Is there anybody that can give any suggestions?
