I am looking for assistance with a Compuserve connection to SAP into
the R/2 info System (IS)?
We currently have a PC using CModeW software that connects through
Compuserve through which we then gain access to the R/2 IS. After the
connections is made we then use Entire Connection (talking to CModeW using
WHLLAPI.DLL) to download code. This software runs on Windows 3.11.
I am tryting to get a similar setup under Win NT. I have the NT Compuserve
software which has a terminal session but this type of session does not
support upload/download through R/2 IS (or am I incorrect?). I tried
using Entire Connection in NT via a Telnet VT session; connecting up to the
same host but the key mappings/codes are incorrect and I end up with
password violations, however a Win NT Telnet session using VT100 will work.
My questions are:
1. Does anyone have a similar type of connection working under NT - if so how?
2. Are Telnet sessions into SAP R/2 Info system supported?
3. Is there another solution (since the WWW service does not provide
thefull downoad facility we require from KN5)
