US Payroll: Ranges for Hourly Rates

We have several groups of people who are hourly paid but their rate can
be any rate within a given range depending on the payscale group and
level. The problem is how to validate that the rate falls within the
allowed range when entered into infotype 0008. Table T510N is for
ranges but only for annual salaries not hourly rates. I haven't been
able to find anything in the IMG or documentation.
Any Ideas?
