SAP has worked with a number of companies from Microsoft to Excell in
an effort to create solutions for various client requirements. These
requirements range from financial statements to various reports for
various functions.
My question pertains to the mechanism(s) to enable SAP and the various
other software to talk with each other. One of the ways I understand is
through RFC (remote function call). Has anyone had any experience with
RFC and is it an important tool in the SAP world? I would be interested
in feedback on the subject.
