Hi,
I want to thank all of you who gave their suggestions to my request.
I downloaded the Snag-it tool which seems to be quite effective.
Here are my findings:
filesize of a Word document containing one screen capture.
using the print screen button 484 Kb
Snagit full color 1,4 Mb
Snagit 256 color 484 Kb
Snagit 16 color 246 Kb
Snagit Black & White 70 Kb
As a conclusion Snagit seems to be very effective in downsizing Wordfiles
with screen captures. This however is only valid for the Snagit32 version.
The Snagit16 version file sizes are all >400 Kb which is no real
downsizing.
