Authority objects and transactions

Wondering if anyone has a listing of the authority objects associated
with particular transactions. I am responsible for the security of the
R/3 environment and am approaching my profile structure from the
transaction/function level.
This approach allows me to know (with confidence) which users have
access to a particular transaction, and more importantly, identify
users that may have conflicting duties (i.e., someone having the
objects necessary to perform a transaction that they should not be
performing based upon their job function).
I know this is a rather large request because we are attempting to do
so as I write this, but any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
