Dividing into two clients

We do have the following problem:
Our company will be divided into two independent different owned companys.
We have alread two firms (booking and material) in _one_ client, but must
divide it into _two_ clients or better into two independent SAP-systems,
and of course delete the old stuff of each other.
Has anyone any experience about that issue. Any hint will be appreciated.
