I'm certainly not the world's most advanced user of S-Plus. However, I have
already found the new book by Venables and Ripley to be extremely helpful (and
it's almost totally comprised of examples). I also want to take this
opportunity to applaud Professors Venables and Ripley for making their book
available at a very reasonable price of less than $40 (for hardback plus
software!!).
