The paragraph headed APPLICATIONS, in the advertisement for 2 statistics/
probability positions at Bath posted recently, contained a minor error: for
these jobs an application form does exist and should be filled out.

APPLICATIONS
For further particulars (please quote Reference 99/214) and an application
form, please contact Peter J Hill, Director of Personnel, University of Bath,
Claverton Down, Bath, BA2 7AY. The closing date for applications is Friday
13th August 1999. It is anticipated that short-listing will take place on or
about Friday September 3rd, with interviews to occur on or about Thursday
September 16th.
An advertisement for these posts will soon be posted at
http://jobs.ac.uk
where it will also be possible to obtain the application form electronically.
