I've commissioned a few changes relating to project status values.

I sat down with Bob and went over the issue of project status values.
In retrospect, it seems as if the project status was trying to do two
things, but that the two requirements hadn't been articulated:

To display a keyword project status for the sake of tracking, project
reporting, and simple workflow analysis.
To display a comment that enabled people to understand some detail
about where the project stands.

I have comissioned Miki to modify the database schema to add a table of
COMMENT. A project can have one or more comments.
I have comissioned Bruce to display any comments that the project has in
a bulletted list between the description and the fixed field values.
I have also comissioned Bruce to change the status value setting to be a
selection box with a way of displaying the meanings of the status values
from our controlled vocabulary of keywords.

In a subsequent note, I will be suggesting the keywords and meanings
that take advantage of what we have learned thus far from the projects
we are tracking.

IMPORTANT: Adding new status values to our controlled vocabulary is not
difficult.
