What practices?

I think the intent of this field in the database is to name the practice
director most closely affiliated with the project so that we can help
identify the customers and stakeholders.
As informal chat with Miki pointed out, this field is NOT the same as
Customer. There IS a customer field in the database.
To unify what Tim and Bob suggested with regards to practices I see the
following principles:
Take our organization seriously.
Allow flexibility for internal projects.
Allow flexibility for external projects.
I agree that Miki did the right thing in allowing NULL practice for
flexibility.
Clearly our existing practices:
ACADEMIC
OFFICE
TELECOM
need to be present.
Bob: Can we move all those other "Practices" into the "Customer" field,
keep the Practice field of our db cleanly based on our organization, and
allow just those three and NULL for projects that are not under the
auspecies of one of our process directors?
