I am helping Greg Anderson update Discovery Project information in the
Projects Database. About ten of the Discovery projects already have
associated Charters and Discovery Reports that currently reside (in project
subdirectories) in the Athena Web directory:
/afs/athena.mit.edu/org/i/is/discovery.
WIthin each project subdirectory, each charter is called "charter.html" and
each report, "report.html". For example, the Writing Requirements Discovery
Project has:
- a charter at /afs/athena.mit.edu/org/i/is/discovery/wro/charter.html
- a report at /afs/athena.mit.edu/org/i/is/discovery/wro/report.html
How do you recommend we provide access to Discovery documents? Before the
projects database was created, the Discovery documents were accessible via
a Filemaker database-created Web page, which is about to be disabled:
http://web.mit.edu/is/discovery/table.html. The Filemaker-generated Web
page provided access to:
- project information
- Discovery Charter, if available
- Discovery Report, if available
Thanks for your advice,
Janet
