OSF DCE Solutions Showcase
The Open Software Foundation is planning to host a DCE Solutions Showcase
during the OSF Member Meeting, May 31-June 2, 1995 in Boston,
Massachusetts. This showcase offers an excellent opportunity for end users
to demonstrate their use of DCE in partnership with their system and
applications suppliers.
For example, a financial institution, telecommunication company, utility,
airline, or any other organization may demonstrate DCE in a working
environment, running both internally developed, and/or third party
application software. The primary goal of the solution showcase is to
highlight the DCE-based partnerships between end users, application
providers and system vendors, as well as provide a focus on the growing end
user deployment of DCE.
System vendors and application developers who would like to demonstrate
their DCE based solutions are welcome, and encouraged to invite their key
customers to join them in this showcase. The OSF DCE Solutions Showcase
will provide a great opportunity for press and consultant coverage for all
participants.
