It seems libertarian are screwing themselves out of the opportunity to
demonstrate that they know how to tolerate their opposition. Bashing the
opposition is pointless...if you are secure in your libertartian
point-of-view, talk about the way you would alter the GOOD ideas that
liberals
and conservatives have for the better. Some things about libertarianism
suck...look at some of our colleagues. They often embarress us. Having
been a full-on Reagan-conservative-Republican in the '80s, I now consider
my own brand of libertarianism to be more of a liberal stripe. I think
it is ludicrous for libertarians, an UNPOPULAR MINORITY, and so full of
diversity, to paint with such broad brushstrokes what liberals are like.
Demonstrate some understanding...you will win more people over this way.
