Well, in the Berkeley case, the ACLU took up the side of the defendants
and chastised HUD. I saw the letter they put out in the newspaper.
ACLU has been known to take different sides on very similar cases.
I think this shows up the idea that there is some massive statist
idealogy behind the left. They're just inconsistent about a lot of
things, and have been that way for so long it doesn't seem
to bother them.
