Welcome to Moscow Libertarium!

<A HREF = "http://feast.fe.msk.ru/libertarium/"> Moscow Libertarium <A>
is a project aimed at the information support
of social activity and scientific research on the problems of liberalism
and liberal conscience in Russia. By "liberalism" we mean classical liberalism,
the movement which now calls itself "Libertarian" in USA.

Major activity will be to gather and provide information through modern
telecommunications and computer networks, first of all -- by Internet
and WWW (World Wide Web) system. Here is our Uniform Resource Locator
(that's how address and method of access is called in WWW system):

URL: http://feast.fe.msk.ru/libertarium/

(don't forget the trailing "/")

This project is coordinated by the Institute for Commercial Engineering,
More detailed info you can get from the project description.

Be aware -- most materials are IN RUSSIAN! (KOI-8 -- RFC 1489 fonts).
We have put the link to the guidelines on installing Cyrillic fonts in
your WWW-browsing program. The server is linked with Russian IP-backbone
through 64K leased line so we hope to be relatively steady. But we are
really in Moscow so don't expect it to be as fast as "information highway"...

Currently Libertarium includes:
* Primer on Liberalism - what is it, anyway?
* Current events -- On-going projects
* People & Organizations, participating in liberal process
* Liberal library with original materials in Russian and other languages.
* Links to other resources which are relevant to the topic

There are already more than 50 articles, declarations, works, papers and
bibliographies on the subject; they present modern Russian liberal views
on political, economical and cultural issues.
All documents are first time published in electronic form;
some were originally created during the project.

Libertarium also includes the C.V.'s (with pictures) and selected
bibliographies of several leading experts. Also very interesting
project "Liberal stock market" is presented as currently Russian
liberals try to implement their view on the topic through
"Stock Market and Securities Law" development.

The leader of the project is Anatoly Levenchuk (ailev@asmp.msk.su);
WWW-design and presentation Eugene Peskin (eugene@eugene.msk.su).
