As decided at the Layered Athena team's September 8 meeting, a beta test
of Layered Athena for HP Series 700 workstations will begin October 11.
We hope to have 8-10 beta testers.
For the duration of the beta test, all questions will be directed to me.
After the beta test, we intend to form a self-supporting user group.
This is a much lower level of support than we would like to have, but
the layer team sees it as the best alternative. See the layer discuss
meeting starting in transaction 70 for more details.
For details on the documentation to be made available, see transaction
77 in the layer discuss meeting.
