I'm (finally) back to working on this proposal I spoke to you about
a few weeks ago. One of the points to be considered is whether we
should use Kerberos version 4 or version 5. Mike Karels said he had
heard a rumor that Athena was not converting to V5, but he thought
that this might be due to nothing more than inertia.
So, three questions. Is Athena converting? If not, why not? And
do you have any opinions regarding the technical merit of V4 versus
V5?
TIA
eric
