We can compromise very easily.  Provide context diffs which include
(dum-da-dum!)  calls to a login library.  Then everybody wins.  People
who need to hack a special login apply our patch and link agains
libklogin.a.  People who are newly kerberizing an application just
write calls to the functions themselves.
