We've already got client-side changes at Cygnus to make the default be
determined by an option in the krb5.conf file, with command-line
options to override either way.
I personally think that is a bad idea, because it is just another
configuration variable that a site admin has to worry about and can
possible get wrong. I'd rather see the right decision made once and
enforced with no extra effort, particularly in this case when the
right decision is obvious. But what Cygnus' product does is entirely
up to Cygnus, of course. :-)
