I like this idea, but suggest that we rename the salt type to
no_salt or add some sort of alias that implies the salt type is not
just used by an old version of Kerberos.
(Only gradually catching up on my e-mail....)
The basic idea is that the no-salt type is intended to be used only for
V4 compatibility. In general, you *do* want to use a salt.
