I'll repeat what I said before, louder. I AM WILLING TO NOT USE
EXPAND, AND ONLY USE STANDARD GMAKE SYNTAX. There.
If it's coming down to power plays, Beta 7 doesn't go out until I'm
satisified. Period.
I think Marc's point was that no one had acknowledged his suggestion
of using gmake without the expand patches, and that since he thinks it
is a viable option, he wanted to make sure people realized it existed.
Also, he doesn't want people to think that both he and I are totally
hell-bent on using the expand patches to the exclusion of all other
options.
