In order for it to be useful at all as a run-time option, there would
have to be a run-time configuration file which would have to be
consulted each time kinit ran --- something like /etc/attach.conf.
That's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Compile time options
like this aren't really very useful, because they embed policy
decisions which should be changeable without requiring a source build.
The config file could also contain things like default ticket
lifetime..
